There are also factions within the cast and crew, who, based on their history, have a poisoned sense of what is going on. With Vidal, he is dealing with some personal issues while he tries to regain his film making form. He may transfer his thoughts of Irma Vep to Maggie, who he hired because he too sees her as strong and sexy like the skin-tight latex clad Irma. And Maggie may take her research for the comic bookish character to an extreme.

In the 82nd and last of the Republic B-westerns starring Roy Rogers, the latter is a Border Patrolman assigned to stop the increasing threat of hoof-and-mouth disease from Mexican cattle spreading into the United States. (The term hoof-and-mouth is correct and proper usage despite the USDA current term of foot-and-mouth, which only indicates that those people don't know that cattle, goats and sheep don't have feet.) Roy arranges for his friend and counterpart in Mexico, Lopez (Maurice Jara), to also be assigned to the Border Patrol. Lopez encounters Jim Bradford (Anthony Caruso) and Ward Sloan (Roy Barcroft) smuggling cattle across the border, and he is ruthlessly shot down when he tries to arrest them. Bradford, who is actually a wanted gangster named Lucky Guillo, sends henchman Tony (Ken Terrell) to hide the body. Tony is caught by Roy and taken to Borrasco for questioning. Lopez's young son Pancho (Edwardo Jiminez) is captured by Ward and Sloan who offer to trade the boy to the Sheriff (William Ruhl) in exchange for Tony. Roy protests, but reporter Cathy Marsh (Dale Evans) and newspaper owner Elena Maders (Estelita Rodriguez) decide to release Tony to save Pancho's life. Thanks to a picture photographer Pinky (Pinky Lee) has taken, Roy makes a visit to the Sloan ranch and finds Pancho, who tells him that Sloan, Bradford and Tony are on their way to the border to rustle another herd of cattle. Roy and Trigger (billed as usual above the title with Roy) track them through a blinding sand storm.

Irene Roma, a young Russian teacher at an American mission near Shanghai, is entrusted with an amulet by her brother Peter Roma, who has been wounded by Igor Sargoza, a discredited Russian secret agent, who is aware of the amulet's value. Needing a Russian passport in order to leave Shanghai, Irene presents her problem to Howard Barclay, an English friend of her brother's, and his friend, Johnny McGinty, an American newspaper photographer. Barclay suggests that McGinty marry her, thereby giving her his American citizenship. A Chinese friend sends the bride a beautiful mandarin figure, to be used as an incense burner but Johnny decides to use it as a hiding place for the amulet. Barclay learns that the marriage does not make Irene an American citizen, but he obtains a Chinese special passport and the three friends, after beating off another attack by the Sargoza gang, reach the Japanese merchant ship that is to take then to safety. On ship they encounter Fuji Yokahama who has learned the hiding place of the amulet.

At a track near Rome, shoeshine boys are watching horses run. Two of them, the orphan Pasquale and his younger friend Giuseppe, are riding. The pair have been saving to buy their own horse. They meet Attilio, Giuse's much-older brother, and his shady friend at a boat on the Tiber. In return for a commission, the boys agree to deliver black-market goods to a fortuneteller. Once the woman has paid, Attilio's gang suddenly arrives, pretending to be cops, to shake the woman down. With a payoff from Attilio, the boys are able to make the final payment and stable their horse in Trastevere over the river. The fortuneteller identifies Pasqua and Giuse. Held at an overcrowded boys' prison, they are separated. Giuse falls under the influence of an older lad in his cell, Arcangeli. During interrogation, Pasqua is tricked into betraying Giuse's brother to the police. With their trial still in the future, the two friends are driven further apart.

A samurai lord of a once peaceful village was murdered by one of his own men. The traitor then claims the throne, forcing the lord's two small children to flee into the woods, where they conceal themselves near the huge stone statue of Daimajin, the god of their village. After 10 years, the new samurai lord was proven to be very brutal and merciless towards the villagers, showing off his authority to no limits. Therefore, the villagers pray for Daimajin to awaken and to use his powers and spirit to save them from the treachery.
