When they expose a gang of liquor smugglers, the mysterious Black Riders, already responsible for the deaths of two reformers, send Daniel and Andrew notes with black circles drawn on them, symbolizing death. Although Daniel's home and office are ransacked and his character is attacked, he wins the election, then arrests the gang after they capture Andy. Among the gang is the previous sheriff, Jacob Ackerman, who accuses prosecuting attorney Philip Parker of being the real leader. Boss of Rawhide
In the 8th film of the 22-film series, Texas Rangers Tex Wyatt, Jim Steele and Panhandle Perkins are sent to the district of Rawhide to investigate the killings of several ranchers. Tex enters the town posing as a tramp while the other two Rangers join a troupe of itinerant minstrels. Tex, convinced that while they may find the killer, it will not prevent further harassment of the poorer ranchers, and he returns to the Ranger station and persuades his father, Texas Ranger Captain John Wyatt, to take a leave of absence and go to Rawhide and run for Land Commissioner. Tex and his father meet Henry Colby, the wealthiest landholder in the district, who has been advised by his ranch foreman, Frank Hade, and Sam Barrett, the boss of Rawhide, that the nesters are the cause of all the lawlessness. At a meeting, preceded by the dullest, most demeaning minstrel show ever filmed, Captain Wyatt is shot (a fate that should have befallen the minstrels) and the bullet is found to be the same caliber as that used in the earlier killings, although Wyatt is only wounded. Mary Colby, riding the range, sees Barrett attempt to kill Tex using a rifle. Realizing he has been identified, Barrett hurries back to town where he meets the other gang members, and they prepare to fight against the Rangers.

Found Memories
Each citizen of Jotuomba plays an integral role in village life. Madalena is responsible for baking bread; each morning she stacks her rolls as Antonio prepares the coffee. The two share a morning ritual of arguments and insults, followed by an amicable cup of coffee on the bench outside Antonio's shop. At midday the church bells ring, summoning the villagers to mass. In the early evening, they all share a meal together. And so life proceeds in Jotuomba, the days languidly drifting into one another. The only variations seem to be in the weather. One day Rita arrives looking for a place to stay. She came upon the village while traveling through the valley, following the unused railroad tracks. She is a photographer, intent on capturing the village's special allure. Initially reticent, the townsfolk gradually open up to her, sharing their stories and allowing themselves to be photographed. Rita is comfortable with technologies old and new, and Madalena teaches her to knead dough by the light of an oil lamp. Only the village priest continues to find Rita's presence worrisome, especially when she begins asking about the locked cemetery.

Down Texas Way

Marshal Sandy Hopkins (Raymond Hatton), only to learn that he has disappeared, and is suspected of the murder of John Dodge (Jack Daley), owner of practically the whole town, except the hotel Sandy owns and runs when he isn't on an assignment as a Marshal. The murder has been committed by the henchmen of Bart Logan (Harry Woods), who intends to take over the dead man's property and whose men are holding Sandy prisoner to make it appear that he fled after arguing with and killing Dodge. Just before the murder, Logan sent a letter to Dodge with the news that the latter's long-missing wife is returning, and in a short while, Stella (Lois Austin), a Logan accomplice, arrives posing as the missing Ann Dodge, thus establishing her right to the Dodge property. Sandy, allowed to escape, returns unsuspectingly to town and is jailed by Sheriff Trump (Glenn Strange). Mary (Luana Walters), Sandy's niece, appeals for help to Dave Dodge (Dave O'Brien), the murdered man's son, who doesn't know his mother since she left when he was a baby. Meanwhile, Tim has taken charge of the town under his authority as a U.S. Marshal, and Buck, pretending to be a fugitive criminal, has worked his way into the Logan gang. Locating a photograph of the real Mrs. Dodge, he confronts Logan with the picture, who confesses the plot. Buck immediately arrests the whole gang, but Logan escapes. Dave traps him in an old mine, where he is captured by Buck and Tim.

Neander-Jin: The Return of the Neanderthal Man
An instant cult classic. The Return of The Neanderthal Man is a screwball comedy with a Freudian twist. The story of a young woman's quest to find the perfect mate, who is embodied in a 10,000 year old Neanderthal Man. A tongue in cheek look at relationships in our modern age, The Return of the Neanderthal playfully examines all of our preconceived notions about love and romance and turns them inside out and upside down.
