The Good Sister follows a couple who is working to put their crumbling marriage back together, when the wife receives a letter informing her that she has a long-lost twin sister. That unfortunate situation was the brutal murder of one of their colleagues, who they only know by name, but his murder which highlights the danger of the operation. With a unique way developed to identify opium within this one thousand kilogram shipment and as they work on the case which takes them from Tehran to various points in western Europe, a wrench is thrown into the situation with the introduction of a young woman purported to be the wife of the slain agent, which they are pretty sure is a lie.

When her sister supposedly walks away from her troubled marriage, a woman begins to suspect her brother-in-law of killing her. And although there is no body or murder weapon, the woman perseveres until she is finally able to arouse enough suspicion to bring the case to court.
