Three families that are best friends head to their secret retreat when WW3 seems to be nearing. The adults arrive at the retreat and must endure the stress to come while the children are separated from the adults and have their own troubles along the way. This is a great story in the fact that many of these types of movies deal in violence while this one deals in the psychological aspect of the situation.

However, Johnny is not arrested. Instead, the Treasury Agent asks him to assist the government in locating the source of a huge stash of counterfeit US currency flooding the country. In return, the government is prepared to help Johnny receive a reduced prison sentence for his escape from Sing Sing. Johnny agrees but he's surprised to find out that his new romantic conquest, Glenda, is somehow involved in the counterfeit money scheme. Johnny is torn between his love for Glenda and the promise he made to the Treasury Agents.

Although they consider each other friends, it isn't until this case that Carly divulges to Joe that she was a former resident of Safe Harbor herself, from age twelve to sixteen, as her abusive father murdered her mother before her eyes when she was a child. This case marks Carly's first time back to Safe Harbor since she lived there, it a time in her life she wanted put behind her despite loving Olivia like a mother. Carly also ends up being reunited with Olivia's son, Sam Wyatt, the two who were close friends at the time with the possibility of more. The belief all concerned have is that the murderer is Ray Oakum, the center's former groundskeeper who Olivia and Julia recently fired when it was discovered he was previously imprisoned for sexual predation, his current whereabouts unknown. As Joe and Carly work through the case, Carly will have to battle her family demons, and stay impartial to the evidence as she may go down some paths she may not want to based on her history with Safe Harbor.

Lamington Road on Bombay's Western Railway is the nearest railway station that takes one to Kamathipura, notorious for it's red-light, in particular, and a crime-prone area in general. Ben Luder, a local hood, tricks Bartlett back into town by saying he has to fixed to have Doc Larry Taylor do plastic surgery on him. En route they meet Doc and his assistant Helen Ellis and Ben's ruse is exposed. Bartlett kills Ben and forces Doc to drive him to the railroad. Gene, in a fight atop a runaway train, captures Bartlett.

After outlaw leader Ben Wade is captured in a small town, his gang continues to threaten.
