This film is based on a true story about gang life on the streets of Chicago. Ceasar, a young teen, seeks acceptance and membership into the Brotherhood, a gang lead by his older brother, Kiko. Set on breaking the family gang cycle, Kiko fights to keep Ceasar away from a life of crime and violence while others set out to destroy an entire family and the Brotherhood.

In November of 1924, a mysterious Hollywood death occurred aboard media mogul William Randolph Hearst's yacht. Among the famous guests that weekend were: film star Charlie Chaplin; starlet Marion Davies (who was also Hearst's mistress at the time); silent-film producer Thomas H. Ince (known for creating the first Hollywood-studio facility and for creating an "assembly line" system for filmmaking); and feared gossip columnist, Louella Parsons.

Reporter Lanie Kerrigan interviews psychic homeless man Prophet Jack (Tony Shalhoub) for a fluff piece about a football game's score. Instead, he tells her that her life has no meaning and will end in just a few days. This sparks her to action to change the pattern of her life.

Genetic modification means Black Mask has superhuman fighting and healing powers. He is searching the world for top geneticists who might be able to reverse his mutation, which has stolen his ability to feel emotion. His maker, whom he's running from has an amateur rival in this sequel though. Someone is hybridizing the DNA of top pro-wrestlers with that of animals, making them stronger and deadlier. But the process is turning the wrestlers (Iguana, Chameleon (Traci Lords), Snake, Wolf, and Claw) slowly more into animal killers, than human-beings. Black Mask tries to help the wrestlers but their boss has plans for BM himself.

Dylan and Jez are con artists, Dylan is a charming American who's run from some characters in the states and Jez is an English techno nerd. During one of their scams selling a voice recognition computer they hire Georgie as a secretary for the job. The romantic triangle between Dylan, Jez and Georgie appears, but she is also not a secretary, but a student, and her marriage with rich Roger is upcoming.

Terrie Carpenter and David Crabtree are two of the most popular segment hosts on the SHC aka Shopping from Home Channel. They have an antagonistic professional relationship in being opposites in the way they approach their job. Terrie likes to be prepared in knowing product specs, David who accuses her of being boring in her striving to have an air of perfection. David has a devil may care attitude, his catch phrases, which he didn't even write himself, Terrie finding pretentious in wanting to come across as every viewer's best friend. They and the rest of the staff at SHC discover that the rumors that have been circulating around the station are true: that SHC's founder Sharon St. Clair, who still hosts the prime time spot segments, including the Monthly Pick, which pulls in quadruple the viewership of any other segment, is retiring, she and the Board who will make the decision of her replacement both as host for those lucrative time slots, and as head of the company. Terrie and David are among those on the short list of candidates. With each having a very specific and different demographic as their primary viewers, Sharon suggests the two of them start co-hosting some segments, which become popular not only as each is able to pull in her/his regular viewers, but additionally others who enjoy watching their banter stemming from those differences. They both want to succeed even in this situation in striving for the top job, which leaves them in the dichotomy of trying to work together while having that strain of competing. That fine line between hate and love may be crossed as they get to know each other better, which is only complicated by that competition, and the return of Terrie's most recent boyfriend Noah, who Terrie believed would ultimately become her husband before he suddenly broke up with her after two years of dating.

She is the most respected member of the crew, constantly aiding other hosts in improving their content. Lauren is less than thrilled about the big-city hotshot coming to try and fix their problems. She feels threatened and does little to hide her dislike for Jack. The ratings begin to show that their on-air skirmishing - taking shots at one another on their respective "relationship advice" talk shows - is drawing interest to the radio station. During one of their off-air battles, Lauren questions Jack's ability to counsel people regarding love and romance. Jack accepts the challenge and goes a step further to prove his point, claiming that he can help the biggest loser in the county to find real love. He initiates an on-air publicity stunt, asking for applicants from all over Coyote County who think they are the biggest loser and least likely to find love. Too prove that he, not Lauren, understands what true love is, Jack will help the loser woo any woman in Coyote County. Applications pour in to K-RAP from men trying to prove that they are the biggest loser and in need of Jack's love advice to find a mate. A loser is chosen who stands out above the rest as the least likely to attract and charm a woman - Lyle Grincher. Jack then begins counseling the Loser on air and ratings increase further. The radio station is now back in the black with the highest number of listeners ever. However tension also increases between Jack and Lauren. Plot thickens, stakes rise and metaphors get mixed when the audience discovers that Jack's advice is working too well, and the woman that the Loser has chosen to woo is none other than Lauren. Before this romantic battle-of-the-sexes is over, Jack and Lauren will learn what being a winner and loser really means, and more importantly, realize that true love is selfless love.
