As Lily and William go on a trek through the region to question all the possible J. O'Briens William and Saoirse could find, Lily and William start to fall for each other, something that Lily may not want to admit. However, both William and Saoirse know more about the artist and the origins of the likeness of Lily in the painting than they are willing to admit to Lily, that knowledge which could threaten Lily and William's burgeoning romance.

What makes it even more difficult is that the proprietor/head chef, Tom Billings, had no idea of the makeover - the submission made by his Aunt Marge, the diner waitress, and his teen daughter, Claire - and resists any change to Rocko's in reverence and memory to his deceased parents, from who he inherited the diner, and his regulars who he believes expect "diner" in what he presents to them. The diner is despite Tom actually having innate culinary skills beyond that of a diner line cook, and he long having fantasized about something different than a diner if he were to start a culinary life all over again. As Tom reluctantly gives in to Marge and Claire, and as Abby and Tom seem to be able to find a middle ground in what Rocko's should actually be, the two start to fall for each other. They have chemistry which Kenna and the camera, and by association the network, can see. Beyond Abby needing to move to whatever her next makeover after Rocko's, a happy ending for her and Tom may be at risk by what the network wants, which first and foremost is good television.

Her association to that incident led to Tonya being banned from competitive figure skating for life. Tonya's story from the beginning of her figure-skating life at age 4 to the aftermath of the incident is presented. Besides Tonya herself, key people in her life give their perspective of their role in her life. Although they may agree on the broad issues at hand, such as that the incident did occur, they may vary widely in their recollection of the details. These people are: her waitress mother Lavona Golden, who despite having paid for her expensive figure-skating lessons, was abusive toward her physically and emotionally, never believing she was good enough in any aspect of the word, and who pulled her from school to focus solely on the figure skating; Diane Rawlinson, her first and longest-serving coach, who, for good or bad, largely let Tonya be Tonya in the way she presented herself to the figure skating world; Jeff Gillooly, her first husband, and partner in a turbulent relationship on a need to be loved, perhaps without truly loving each other; Jeff's friend and Tonya's bodyguard Shawn Eckardt, a dim bulb who believed himself to be a bigger player in the big scheme of life than he actually was; and sports journalist Martin Maddox, a fictional character who provides general commentary of what the sports media as a collective wanted out of Tonya and the incident.

It's been more than 10 years since our last appointment at Calvin's Barbershop. Calvin and his longtime crew are still there, but the shop has undergone some major changes.
