Colonel Pepper brings his daughter Peggy from Georgia to Hollywood to be an actress. There she meets Billy who gets her work at Comet Studio doing comedies with him. But Peggy is discovered by High Art Studio and she leaves Billy and Comet to work there. For her new image, she is now Patricia Pepoire and ignores Billy when he sees her on location. When she is not longer wanted by the little people who do not understand "ART", she plans to marry Andre to get a fake title. Billy will not let her go without a fight.

Wholly Moses!
A parody of the tale of Moses, featuring his apparent half-brother, brother-in-law, and accidental duplicate Herschel. The boys are born around the same time, their lives follow parallel paths, and they accidentally have near-meetings several times. When God orders Moses to return to Egypt and to rescue his people, Herschel is standing nearby and thinks that God is talking to him. Herschel tries to obey God's command, but he struggles in vain while Moses is always one step ahead of him. Eventually Herschel realizes that his entire life story is just a footnote in history, and he complains to God that he wants to be remembered. Several thousand years later, God arranges for the Book of Herschel to be discovered by two amateur archaeologists. After the duo read the ancient scroll, the scroll scatters into dust. God has ensured that two people will remember his failed prophet, but also that Herschel's biography will be largely lost to the sands of time. God laughs for a while at being able to play another prank on the long-dead Herschel, just as he enjoyed playing pranks on him while Herschel was alive.

The Cup
While the football World Cup is being played in France, two young Tibetan refugees arrive at a monastery/boarding school in exile in India. Prevented by various circumstances from seeing the Cup finals on television in a nearby village, Orgyen sets out to organize the rental of a TV set for the monastery. The enterprise becomes a test of solidarity, resourcefulness and friendship for the students, while the Lama, head of the monastery, contemplates the challenges of teaching the word of Buddha in a rapidly changing world.
