But "Doodle" tips the scales at 143 pounds and is more interested in the band than the football team. Janice Martin, daughter of the college president, is the great thing in "Doodle's" life, but she despises him and has eyes only for Mickey Wells, the school football star. "Doodle" is consoled by Professor Minorous, of the Greek Mythology department who tells him that the gods will solve all of his problems, and starts right in to make communications with these worthies by means of countless and meaningless blackboard equations.

This Hong Kong martial-arts extravaganza tells of evil emperors and true love. The secret Red Lotus Flower Society is committed to the overthrow of the evil Manchu Emperor and his minions. One of his Governors is sent on a mission to retrieve a list of members of that secret society. Meanwhile, Canton kung fu practitioner Fong Sai-Yuk falls in love with the beautiful daughter of a rich merchant, recently moved to Canton. Her father, in an attempt to gain influence in the region and thus improve his business, offers his daughter in marriage to the winner of a kung-fu contest. Some interesting gender role-reversals take place during a 'comedy of errors.'

Count Dracula is in L.A., running a hideous club scene, and he's angry that a rogue vampire, posing as a streetwalker, is slashing. He's also unhappy that Dallas, a youthful undead and former protégé, is in town. The rogue slasher, Nico, serendipitously picks Dallas as a victim; after discovering each other's nature, they become lovers. In fear of the Count, Dallas's coterie urges him to kill Nico, but he refuses. Meanwhile, a Viennese vampire hunter, Van Helsing, arrives in L.A. and hires the Crips to help him. They're soon following Nico and Dallas. When they capture her, Dallas wants to deal: spare Nico and he'll lead the hunters to Dracula. It's time for stake and bake.

After a suicide attempt, Lucas, a young homeless man in New York City, is taken in by Jacques, the gruff owner of a small bar. He wants to contact the police but there is no phone or car on the premises.

Kelly, Eubie's six-year-old sister, is Eubie's misinformed teacher, occasional interpreter, and reluctant caretaker. Keep one thing in mind when you enter Eubie's world: if you're not part of the solution, you have a major "Bad Baby" problem on your hands.

The students at Anytown, USA High School (Monogram version) are down in the dumps: their football team faces almost-certain defeat, the school paper might need to suspend publication because the circulation is so low, and the principal intends to replace student performers at the school bazaar with professionals. But with the class roster on this Monogram campus made up of Freddie Stewart, June Preisser, Anne Rooney, et al, it's only a matter of about 45 more minutes before the team wins, the paper gets a large circulation boost, and all hands are on stage performing with the Freddie Slack and Jan Savitt orchestras.

After being implanted with a microchip that gives him special powers, a dog engages a young boy in conversation and adventure.
