Acclaimed French Canadian comedy that wittily explores the sexual mores (or the lack thereof) of a college faculty klatch gathering for one of its regular dinner parties. Dorothy Berryman, Remy Girard, Yves Jacques, Dominique Michel star.

This is the film based on the true adventures of Izzy and Moe. They were two retired vaudeville performers who, being unemployed, decided to become Prohibition Enforcement Agents. They are initially treated with scorn from fellow Agents as old men pretending to be cops. That abuse soon stops when the pair refuse to use the standard but futile methods of the agency, and instead employ their theatrical experience to use an amazing variety of disguises and tricks to become two of the most effective agents on the force. Eventually, their outstanding string of successful raids and arrests starts drawing the attention of the mob and their bought cops, who desperately plan to stop this pair.

Edmond's favorite story is about Chanticleer, a rooster whose singing makes the sun rise every morning until the Grand Duke of Owls, whose kind despises the sun, makes him look like a fraud. The owls drive Chanticleer from the farm and put it under a spell of perpetual darkness and rain. As Edmond's own farm floods, he calls to Chanticleer and summons the Duke himself, who transforms him into a kitten to devour him. He's rescued by Chanticleer's friends, Patou the hound, Snipes the magpie, and Peepers the mouse, and they go on an adventure to the city where Chanticleer has become a rock star.

The Pooles are unable to have a baby after years of trying. They apply to the Rock-A-Bye Adoption Agency, and are assigned Miss Novick as an investigator. Through a far-fetched miscommunication, she gets a very bad impression of Augie Poole and indicates that her report will be unfavorable. Through even more far-fetched circumstances, Augie is able to change Miss Novick's mind, and later he comes to believe that the baby she is carrying is his. Rock-A-Bye does find the Pooles a baby, and Augie is convinced that it is Miss Novick's and he is the real father...so much so that his wife also comes to believe it. She threatens to leave him, but all the misunderstandings are finally cleared up for a happy ending.

The new state government is embarking on a program of prison reform, one of the measures to appoint a psychologist at Harbor State Prison on a 6-month probation period to ascertain prisoners' mental acuity, including skill aptitude, not only to make them more productive members of prison society, but also to prepare them for a straight life once outside the prison walls. The outcome of this trial will dictate whether this specific project will continue and if it will be expanded to other prisons. The appointee, hereafter referred to as Doc, is an academic inexperienced at working with prisoners, and as such walks into the situation a bit naive. Despite the Warden's best guess that the trial is doomed to failure as the prisoners will never trust him or the process in only seeing him and it as a means to gather information to use against them--being a so-called stoolie--Doc is determined to uphold the project's purpose, which requires confidentiality in whatever prisoners may divulge in the process. Doc is dismayed to learn that he has no trained staff and must recruit staff from the prison population--actually, prisoners will "choose" if they want to work for him. Doc learns that first he must gain the go-ahead of Punch Pinero, a known murderer who was convicted on a lesser charge of tax fraud, controlling much of the prison population and using violence as a means of control. Over the course of months, six convicts volunteer for the work assignment, all on their own personal motive, some nefarious. In terms of severity of their crimes, they range from an alcoholic who took the fall for "a dame", to a murderer, a psychopath who killed and will kill for the sheer enjoyment of the act. Doc's unofficial de facto second in charge ends up being James T. Connie, a safe-cracker who has learned to manipulate the system to his benefit and who is sometimes a little too smart for his own good. Doc not only has the issue of gaining their trust and thus their loyalty and by association they acting as trusted liaisons to the rest of the prison population, he has to manage the disparate personalities among the six, again some who have less than noble reasons for wanting to work for him--reasons which could place his life at risk.

Sleazy museum curator Rico steals a tribe's sacred dinosaur eggs in the rain forest. Frank, an archaeologist and a single parent, ekes out a living by selling fossils from his farm to the museum.
