Instead of heading to Arizona for her next big story in what has been her illustrious career in her relatively young life, New York based investigative journalist Selena St. George heads to her hometown on a small island just off the coast of Jonesport, Maine upon receiving a fax from an anonymous sender that her mother, Dolores Claiborne, is the only suspect in what looks to be the murder of her wealthy employer of twenty-three years, Vera Donovan. Dolores, who reassumed her maiden name following the death of Selena's father, Joe St. George, started working as one of Vera's domestics upon her moving permanently into what used to be the Donovans' summer house after Jack Donovan's passing, Dolores ultimately moving into the Donovan house full time as her caregiver when Vera required 'round the clock care. Dolores' employment, which was solely to save money for Selena's education, was despite miserly and overly particular Vera only paying a pittance. Selena has been estranged from Dolores for fifteen years, when Selena went away to college at Vassar on a full scholarship, on Selena's belief not only that her mother killed her father when she was thirteen - the death ultimately ruled accidental - but the trauma she endured at the hands of townsfolk who believed the same in their often anonymous taunts. Selena still suffers emotionally from the trauma, she resorting to various means of self-medication. Detective John Mackey, who led the investigation, believed the same, this case the only blemish in his otherwise perfect career. He, leading the investigation into Vera's death, has seemingly had it in for Dolores for eighteen years, and already has it in his mind that if she could kill Joe, she could just as easily have killed Vera, with a strong underlying motive beyond the seemingly open dislike the two had for each other in their mutual name calling. As Dolores and Selena are forced to move back into what has largely been the closed-up St. George house for however long Selena will be staying on the island, old memories come back to haunt both of them, with the truth behind what happened eighteen years ago and thus what happened with Vera buried deep within those memories in the house.

Told in flashback they pair recall their first meeting, and memorable moments in their courtship and early wedded life, as well as the tensions they both felt which led them each to extramarital affairs. With a terrific score by Henry Mancini, this welli-loved Stanley Donnen film's a sparkling effervescent story which deals in an atypical way for films of this time - showing both the joyousness and pathos off love.

As an Ambassador for Child USA, Corey Feldman introduces the organization's founder and CEO Marci Hamilton as they fight to change the statute of limitations in child sexual abuse cases. Corey Feldman speaks about his own childhood sexual abuse while a Hollywood teen idol, as well as the allegations made against those he and others, say abused the late actor Corey Haim. Though the movie looks at past abuse, the focus is on what can be done to protect children in Hollywood today and in the future.

Brad Gluckman or "B-rad" acts like he is from the hood, when he is white and lives in a rich neighborhood in Malibu. He is ruining his fathers election for governor, and he and his crew come up with an idea, to send "B-rad" to the hood to turn him back into a white boy. This movie is filled with laughs and is a great comedy.

'Ni Mai Sass Kuttni' as the name suggests, is a very old Punjabi Traditional Boli (Song), which is sung on various occasions in Punjab, usually during weddings. This film is all about the sweet and sour companionship of Mother-in-Laws and Daughter- in-Laws. Anita Devgan is quite frustrated with her mother-in-law Nirmal Rishi, as she orders her for doing all the household chores alone. In the meantime, Anita Devgan is delighted by the idea of her elder son Gurpreet Ghuggi getting married so that she can become boss to her new daughter-in-law Akshita Sharma and enjoy her life. But the situation turned upside down, Anita Devgan gets fed up of her new daughter-in-law too. And keeping in mind the whole scenario, when Mehtab (her younger son) insists on getting married to his love interest Tanvi Nagi, Anita Devgan bluntly refuses. But the other members of the family happily support the love birds and get them married in a secret ceremony. When the new daughter-in-law comes home, there's a whole lot of fun roller coaster ride which includes drama, agitation, laughter and emotions.

Set in present-day London, a group of radical activists take over an energy company's annual gala, seizing 300 hostages in order to expose the corruption of the hosts. Their just cause is hijacked by an extremist within their ranks, who is ready to murder everyone in the building to send his anarchic message to the world. Each episode saw a compilation of incidents, ranging from the humorous (e.g., a stranded motorist) to criminal investigations (such as hijackings) and tragic incidents (such as a fiery multi-car pile-up with multiple deaths. Other aspects of Ponch and Jon's daily work were highlighted as well; the social lives of both officers (they were both single) often provided the lighter moments. On occasion, Ponch and Jon were assisted by a female "Chippie" at first, the very beautiful Sindy Cahill; and later, the more wholesome Bonnie Clark. In 1982, Ponch got a new partner, Bobby Nelson (series star Wilcox left the show that year), while Nelson's younger brother, Bruce, was a trainee on the force. By now, the female "Chippie" was the attractive Kathy Lindahan.
