This series chronicles the events surrounding the activities of the Royal Flying Doctors Service, which operates its own aircraft--in this case from the base at Coopers Crossing, an otherwise hardly-notable town--to fly its medical staff throughout the Australian outback, where roads are too scarce and distances too immense to reach patients for medical care or get them to hospital by car in time. Doctors, nurses, pilots, and base staff change throughout the seasons, often coming from the city and finding difficulties adapting to life in the godforsaken countryside and being accepted by the isolated local community; there are, of course, the usual colleague stories. In most episodes they make one or more flights for routine medical examination sessions and/or emergency help, sometimes continued on board and/or in the hospital. Furthermore there are various sidelines, mainly concerning the local characters such as bar-owners Vic and Nancy, who also provide the only rooms, and some of their regulars, including local shopkeeper and busybody Violet Carnegie and arrogant richest businessman George Baxter who are very influential in the indispensable fund-raising.

Matt & Amy Roloff enlist the help of their four children Jeremy, Zack, Molly & Jacob to help expand the business of Roloff farms. As the kids grow older, the family grows larger and the Roloffs learn how to keep their family relationships strong.

All the usual soap opera devices, including prolonged amnesia, a woman with a split personality, murderous mobsters, usurped identities, and murders with many suspects, are used quite effectively in this long running serial.

Cardinal is a Canadian crime drama television series, currently in production for a scheduled debut on CTV in the 2016-2017. An adaptation of Giles Blunt's award-winning mystery novel "Forty Words for Sorrow", the series stars Billy Campbell as John Cardinal and Karine Vanasse as Lise Delorme, detectives investigating the murder of a young girl.

The series follows the lives of both the family and the servants in the London townhouse at 165 Eaton Place. Richard Bellamy, the head of the household, is a member of Parliament, and his wife is a member of the titled aristocracy. Belowstairs, Hudson, the Scottish butler, directs and guides the other servants about their tasks and (sometimes) their proper place. Real-life events from 1903-1930 are incorporated into the stories of the Bellamy household.

Tangle is an Australian drama series for the Showcase subscription television channel. It revolves around the intertwined lives of the Kovac and Williams families and their network of friends and extended family. New Scotland Yard Commander Adam Dalgleish is asked to have a second look at the death of Ronald Treeves, a student at St. Anselm's seminary. He was killed when a sand dune collapsed and buried him alive and a coroner's inquest ruled that it was an accident but his father refuses to accept the verdict. St. Anselm's is located on a desolate stretch of the English coast and holds a special place for Dalgleish who spent many enjoyable summers there as a young teenager. His initial examination of the evidence reveals nothing but when the housekeeper who discovered Treeves' body dies suddenly, he begins to suspect that something is amiss. The internal politics of the school opens the door to many suspects, particularly as a visiting Church of England official may be seeking to close the school entirely. When a much-disliked cleric is killed, Dalgleish must determine if the motive is related to the school or the result of something more personal.
