Voyage chronicled the adventures of the world's first privately owned nuclear submarine, the SSRN Seaview. Designed by Admiral Harriman Nelson, she was a tool of oceanographic research for the Nelson Institute of Marine Research. Though the show is known for its "monster" episodes, many plots were veiled commentaries of what was happening in the news. Such plotlines as nuclear doomsday, pollution of natural resources, foreign threat, and theft of American technology are all still relevant today.

Meet Bill and Judy Miller, a toilet salesman and a dental assistant: two high-school lovers who turned in their wild lifestyle to get married years ago. Now, as they creep toward middle age, they're dealing with more "everyday" things, such as their three kids: their intelligent and (to Bill's horror) still sexually-unsure son Brian; their typical drama-queen daughter Lauren; and their smug, sarcastic six-year-old, Tina. With Judy's desperate man-hunting sister Linda, Bill's interfering mother Louise, a lesbian couple as next-door neighbors, and other crazy characters around, it's no wonder that Bill and Judy constantly get into strange, hilarious misadventures as they try to prove that they're not too old to have fun. Along the way, they always end up showing that they still love each other, no matter what.

Former major-league baseball player Tony Micelli and his daughter, Samantha, arrive at the Connecticut household of executive Angela Bower, where Tony has taken a job as live-in housekeeper. The Bowers are an interesting family, to say the least. Angela is uptight and obsessed with her work. Her son, Jonathan, is shy and lacks self-esteem, and her mother, Mona Robinson, is a man-hungry vixen. Tony soon wins them over with his laid-back style, and they soon begin to loosen up. Over time, romantic tensions begin to surface between Angela and Tony, and we see the children grow up.

Day by day, Maury and his producers invite guests to the show. The audience participates and put questions to the guests. This talk-show is different from many of its peers by handling topics that are more sensitive and "private."

These are the adventures of the misfit crew of PT-73 during World War II. They're one of the best fighting crews in the Navy, but break regulations when it suits them. Their commander, Lieutenant Commander Quinton McHale (Ernest Borgnine), is at times as roguish as his crew, but he puts his foot down when things go too far. Binghamton (Joe Flynn) and his aide Lieutenant Elroy Carpenter (Bob Hastings). They're initially stationed in the South Pacific, but moved to Italy in the last season.

This series chronicles the events surrounding the activities of the Royal Flying Doctors Service, which operates its own aircraft--in this case from the base at Coopers Crossing, an otherwise hardly-notable town--to fly its medical staff throughout the Australian outback, where roads are too scarce and distances too immense to reach patients for medical care or get them to hospital by car in time. Doctors, nurses, pilots, and base staff change throughout the seasons, often coming from the city and finding difficulties adapting to life in the godforsaken countryside and being accepted by the isolated local community; there are, of course, the usual colleague stories. In most episodes they make one or more flights for routine medical examination sessions and/or emergency help, sometimes continued on board and/or in the hospital. Furthermore there are various sidelines, mainly concerning the local characters such as bar-owners Vic and Nancy, who also provide the only rooms, and some of their regulars, including local shopkeeper and busybody Violet Carnegie and arrogant richest businessman George Baxter who are very influential in the indispensable fund-raising.
