They Made Me a Criminal
A southpaw with a distinctive boxing style, New York based Johnnie Bradfield has just won the world lightweight boxing champion title. While he, to the public, portrays himself as wholesome, doting on his mother, he, in reality, lives a hard and fast life in stark contrast to that public persona. While passed out in a drunken stupor, a reporter, poised to expose Johnnie's true lifestyle, dies in Johnnie's apartment. Knowing that he did not kill the reporter but that he is implicated in doing so, Johnnie, with a few hundred dollars of his several thousand dollars amassed wealth in his pocket, goes on the run in learning that the authorities also believe that he died in a fiery car crash. Not by plan or choice but rather circumstance and need, Johnnie, using the alias Jack Dorney, ends up at the Rafferty Date Farm in Arizona run by elderly Grandma Rafferty, whose brother, Father Rafferty, before his passing, sent a group of six reform school kids from New York City's East side to give them a better chance at life in that reform. Despite initial animosity between Johnnie and Grandma, the six delinquents and Peggy, the sister of one of the reform kids who accompanied her brother to the farm in feeling she may be a grounding influence for him, all end up having a reciprocal positive influence on the other, especially Johnnie and Peggy, who start to fall for each other. There are two problems potentially to upset Johnnie's new life. First, he may turn to the only way he knows how to earn a living, namely boxing, which may expose him as still being alive. Second, NYPD Detective Monty Phelan, whose career took a nosedive ten years prior in a grave error of judgment, believes Johnnie is indeed alive and will do anything to prove his case in needing to restore some legitimacy to his career.

School of Life
History teacher "Stormin'" Norman Warner is held with great reverence at Fallbrook Middle School, he voted Teacher of the Year by its student body forty-three years in a row. His son, current Biology teacher Matt Warner, does not hold that same reverence by the students, who view him as a stick in the mud. After Norman's passing, Matt, who received a few words of wisdom from his father before he died and who has always felt in his father's shadow, nonetheless feels the burden of keeping the Warner winning streak of Teacher of the Year alive. His task is made all the more difficult of the hiring of Michael D'Angelo, a Fallbrook alumnus, as its new History teacher. Quickly given the catchy moniker "Mr. D" by all at the school, Michael captures the imagination not only of the students but of all the other teachers, that is except Matt, who uses all his energies to discredit Mr. D and his methods. All Matt's efforts fall flat on his face, which places his son, Dylan Warner, a grade 8 student at the school, in a bad light, difficult for Dylan as he pursues fellow classmate and head cheerleader, Chase Witherspoon, who he already believes is out of his league. Some information he learns about Mr. D may lead Matt on the path to truly becoming the inspiration to the students he wants to be, regardless of the award.

Big Fan
To most who know him or even merely see him in his life, thirty-six year old Paul Aufiero is a sad sack of a man. He still lives at home on Staten Island with his mother who basically supports him, he works a dead end job as a parking garage attendant, and as his mother states his only ever girlfriend has been his overworked hand. But Paul staunchly defends his life to others who rail against or try to help him, especially in being what he considers the biggest New York Giants fan there is. He and his only true friend Sal attend every home game - although only as tailgaters who watch the game on a battery powered TV in the stadium parking lot while the other tailgaters have tickets to see the game live inside the stadium - and he spends most of his time writing what he will ultimately say on Sport Dogg's post-game call-in radio show as well-known fan caller "Paul from Staten Island", making his fan ravings sound as unscripted as possible. Most of those ravings are against his Philadelphia caller counterpart "Philadelphia Phil"'s anti-Giants ravings, especially as the Giants and Eagles battle for the division title. Paul and Sal believe they've died and gone to heaven when they spot their favorite Giant, quarterback Quantrell Bishop, a five-time Pro Bowler, out one evening. The elation of the night to this point changes after they finally decide to approach Bishop. That encounter may make Paul reevaluate his devotion to the Giants - whose seemingly easy march to the post-season has now become a little more difficult - and by association everything that he has held true to his heart his entire life.

Demon on Wheels
DEMON ON WHEELS is the story of an old hot-rodder, his woman and the car that comes between them - a 1968 Mustang fastback that against all odds he plans to restore and race as a tribute to to the the legendary auto innovator and driver Carroll Shelby. CAN LOVE OUTRUN A FAST CAR? A former speed demon and rumrunner, now an aging mechanic in a sleepy Catskill Mountains town, risks it all - his health, his security, even the love of his life - when he vows to restore and race the prized car of his wild youth, a 1968 Ford Mustang that's been hidden away for 35 years. Now a self-described "old man in an old car," Mike Ondish wants to chase racing glory one last time, hoping to rekindle the spark in his relationship, and rediscover the thrill of a fast car and the wide-open road. But will his quest to restore the car, bolt by bolt, as a tribute to Carroll Shelby (the racing legend who gave the Mustang its muscle) restore him? Is he destined to be reborn to be wild? Or will a love triangle between Mike, his girlfriend Martha and the Demon lead him to crash and burn? This film - shot on location in the beautiful Catskill Mountains, and on race tracks and drag strips in Oklahoma and upstate New York - was seven years in the making. The bolt by bolt restoration and those moments of gear head wizardry and hot rodder ingenuity, are faithfully expressed. The wild nights of our hero in his younger days - racing around the reservoir, outrunning the cops with a trunk full of moonshine, cruising the center of town on Friday nights -are vividly remembered and recreated. Interviews with the legendary CARROLL SHELBY and Ford's chief Mustang enthusiast JOHN CLOR capture the history and legacy of the Mustang. But most of all, this film is a love story: what happens when your partner ventures off in pursuit of a seemingly impossible dream? What happens when a car becomes the other woman?
