Who Is Cletis Tout?
Chicago hitman Critical Jim (Tim Allen) has apprehended his latest New York target, Cletis Tout. The only reason Jim has not yet killed him is that he states he is not really Cletis Tout. The only thing in which Jim finds greater satisfaction than getting the job done, is watching classic movies, especially ones with a good story. As such, Jim gives him the opportunity to "pitch" his story to save his life. Saying that his name is Trevor Allen Finch (Christian Slater), he is a career white collar criminal who recently broke out of prison with a friend to help said friend retrieve a cache of diamonds he hid long ago. Beyond Finch assuming Tout's identity to elude the authorities, which got him into this predicament with Jim, he and his friend found that retrieving the diamonds were not going to be as easy as going back to where he had hid them. There was also the added complication of a young woman, Tess Tobias (Portia de Rossi), entering his life, she, who he may have let slip through his fingers, despite being probably the one with whom he was meant to be. Beyond buying or not buying the story, Jim may want to see his version of the classic Hollywood ending in not only writing the final scene to his satisfaction, but doing his part to ensure it comes to fruition.

Aaron Davis (Steve Sandvoss) and Christian Markelli (Wes Ramsey) are perhaps the two most opposite people in the world. Aaron is a passionate young Elder (a Mormon missionary) who wants to do his family and church proud. Christian is a shallow West Hollywood waiter/party boy who only looks forward to what man the next night will bring to him. After Aaron and three other Elders move into the apartment across from his, Christian's friends make a bet that he can't get one of them into the sack, so he instantly latches onto Aaron, suspecting there is more than meets the eye to him. There are two problems, though: Christian finds himself questioning his own identity as he falls in love with Aaron and the Mormon Church treats homosexuality as a sinful lifestyle. When Aaron's burgeoning sexuality is discovered, they will have to go through trials of regret, loss, perseverance, and forgiveness if they want to get to the thing that matters to them most: each other.

A Queer Country
Harriet and Lisa (one gay and Jewish, and one neither) began their journey in Israel last year. They integrated themselves into the LGBT community in Tel Aviv and saw the difference between life there and in Jerusalem, where not long ago the Pride march had to be held indoors due to violence from the ultra orthodox community. They have since made very intimate and established relationships within the LGBT community in Israel and returned in the Summer of 2014 to continue their fascinating journey into a country which is continually diverse and complex. Israel is a haven for the Jewish people and also, increasingly, a haven for the gay community. It's governed by Orthodox civil law and yet it hosts the world's biggest gay pride. The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement say this is a cynical marketing ploy, not a political awakening. Investigating these claims takes us on an extraordinary journey into Israel's Bohemian side and the social revolution that's challenging the foundations of the Jewish state.
