A group of scientists travel to a remote island to study the effects of nuclear weapons tests, only to get stranded when their airplane explodes. The team soon discovers that the island has been taken over by crabs that have mutated into enormous, intelligent monsters. To add to their problems, the island is slowly sinking into the ocean. Will any of them manage to escape?

Astronomers discover a comet that they believe will crash into Phoenix, Arizona. They attempt to warn officials, but without 100% certainty, the governor of Arizona is reticent to cause a panic. Even after a television news reporter discovers the truth and threatens to go live with it, the response is understated enough to doom some residents of Phoenix to certain death.

A scientist and his family move to a new town. He meets the local celebrity the beautiful who runs the local health club to which everyone is a member and makes him suspicious. Intrigued he investigates further and uncovers a terrifying plot.

George Fowler is introduced to a gang planning to rob a bank in St. Louis that they expect will have $100,000 on hand on an upcoming Friday. George is drawn into the plan as the gang's driver by Gino, an old girlfriend's older brother. As the gang goes about its planning, George and Gino have to find a way to live for the next two weeks and they turn to Gino's sister, Ann, for help. George is hoping to go back to college and the money he would make would go a long way to helping him do that. Not trusting George to keep his nerve, the gang's leader John Egan moves him to the inside, but the robbery doesn't go off as planned.

Rumours abound about what may go on at a creepy mansion just out of town. The house is owned by Dr. Eric Vornoff who is conducting experiments to turn people into super-beings through the use of atomic power. Reporter Janet Lawton decides to look into what is going there and its possible connection to men that have disappeared in the area. When Vornoff takes her prisoner, he has definite plans for her.

She finds out that Amy needs an insulin injection in less than 12 hours, otherwise she will die. However, when her superior arrives he dismisses Megan as she is still haunted by her failure in the past. But she seeks out her absent father to ask for some advice to help her to find Amy.

To Pa and several members of his Eagle Claw Fighting Clan are repulsed, in their attempt to rob government gold, by Chen Chen Chow, the Lightning Whipper. The clan do a second attack and are successful in getting the gold and also fatally wounding the Lightning Whipper. However...Lei Peng executes a surprise move, gets the gold, and plans to return it to the government. But the vengeful To Pa convinces the police that Lei Peng is the robber, and Lei Peng is arrested and jailed. To Pa murders Lei Peng's entire family, with the exception of a son who escapes and is befriended by the mysterious Lady Tieh. To Pa gets the gold again and takes it to his hideout. Then Chen and Mu Lan, the Lighting Whipper's son and daughter, rescue Lei Ping from jail, and Lady Tieh, Lei Ping, Chen and Mu Lan band together as the Fearless Fights and take after To Pa.

In spite of just about everything that comes their way, they're "in the money" and it's one great season on the racing circuit.
