Merry In-Laws
Teacher Peter and astrophysicist Alex have been dating for one year and currently live together with Alex's 6-year-old son Max, who is in Peter's class. They proverbially live in two different worlds, Alex grounded in reality in being taught such from a young age by her father Steven, and Peter having a playful quality in not pretending to be anybody but himself. Although they had not talked marriage beforehand, Peter pops the question, and after a short but thorough consideration about the consequences good and bad, Alex says yes. While her parents, especially Steven, are less than thrilled with the thought of Peter as their son-in-law (Steven thinks Alex's research partner Edward is her perfect match), Alex has never met Peter's parents and knows virtually nothing about them except that they run a toy factory up north. The reason for Peter's evasiveness about his parents? They are Santa and Mrs. Claus. Although it's Christmastime, they decide to fly in immediately on their sleigh to meet Alex and Max, whom Grandpa Steven has told that Santa does not exist. Beyond Peter finding the right time to tell Alex the truth about his heritage and their destiny, the situation gets more complicated as the hidden sleigh breaks down upon arrival. Peter's parents' longer-than-anticipated stay gives them time to meet Alex's parents. Steven becomes suspicious that they're hiding something based on what he considers their odd behavior.

Eurocrime! The Italian Cop and Gangster Films That Ruled the '70s
A documentary concerning the violent Italian 'poliziotteschi' cinematic movement of the 1970s which, at first glance, seem to be rip-offs of American crime films like DIRTY HARRY or THE GODFATHER, but which really address Italian issues like the Sicilian Mafia and red terrorism. Perhaps even more interesting than the films themselves were the rushed methods of production (stars performing their own stunts, stealing shots, no live sound) and the bleed-over between real-life crime and movie crime.

Nobody else will discover the truth about them as no other students in their right minds would ever join a club that sounds so boring. Their secrets will be safe from classmates. But are they?
