One Morning in New England, 1940, the entire population of Friar New Hampshire - 572 people - walked together up a winding mountain trail and into the wilderness. They left behind their clothes, their money, all of their essentials. Even their dogs were abandoned, tied to posts and left to starve. No One knows why. A search party dispatched by the U.S. Army eventually discovered the remains of nearly 300 of Friar's evacuees. Many had frozen to death. Others were cruelly and mysteriously slaughtered. The bodies of the remaining citizens are still unaccounted for. Over the years, a quiet cover-up operation managed to weave the story of Friar into the stuff of legends and backwoods fairy tales. The town has slowly repopulated, but the vast wilderness is mostly untracked, with the northern-most stretches off limits to local hunters and loggers. In 2008, the coordinates for the "YELLOWBRICKROAD" trail head were declassified. The first official expedition into a dark and twisted wilderness will attempt to solve the mystery of the lost citizens of Friar...and reach the end of the trail.

"Muffin Top: A Love Story" is the story of Suzanne (Cathryn Michon) a Women's Studies Pop Culture professor at Malibu University, who studies images of women in the media for a living, and yet is made insecure by the constant parade of female perfection that is our airbrushed culture. She has been going through IVF treatments to get pregnant by her network executive husband (Diedrich Bader), but discovers on her birthday, that her husband has knocked up his younger, skinnier, co-worker (Haylie Duff) and wants a divorce. Happy Birthday! She goes on to find a more authentic version of who she really is, despite the delights of being suddenly single in Los Angeles, where low self-esteem for women is their number one export to the world.

Wall Street golden boy Ted Ammon falls madly in love with sassy saleswoman Generosa Rand, marries her, and wants to start a family. Unable to conceive, the couple try other methods; when they prove unsuccessful, they adopt twins, a boy and a girl. When Ted realizes that Generosa has a mental illness, he wants her to seek help, but she refuses, thinking he's saying she is crazy like her mother. During a bitter divorce procedure, she spends millions just to spite him, no matter how willingly he swallows the absurd terms; tries to turn both kids against Ted; and cheats on him with Danny Pelosi, a dodgy contractor with a criminal record. After Ted dies in suspicious circumstances, Generosa turns against Danny just as meanly, in favor of an English nanny/nurse once she is diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Andie MacDowell portrays a woman who is tormented by the ghost of her abusive, alcoholic husband. She must come to terms with the past if she is to find peace and love. Samuel le Bihan is a French engineer who she finds renewed love with and Tim Roth plays her deceased husband who shows us that hate can live on after death. Perhaps forgiveness is the only way to overcome the demons that haunt us from the grave.

When Sarah, a lonely and deeply troubled woman, inadvertently enters an AA meeting, she is embraced by its members who believe that she too is an alcoholic. What the meeting is all about, she doesn't know... but her motive for going to the community center is to meet face-to-face with Charlie, one of the members whom she has seen regularly standing in front of the center adjacent to her window just before what she supposes is some sort of Bible study. She likes the way Charlie moves and the way he smiles. As fate would have it, Sarah and Charlie begin to fall in love. The big question is: Will her continuing attendance at the meeting and her pretense of being an alcoholic weave itself into an entangling web? Will she muster up the courage to tell him, "My name is Sarah, and I'm not an alcoholic," knowing that she may lose him as a result?

Optometrist Steve Finch loves those Christmas traditions he has set up with his family and his town. As such, he has a schedule of activities for them starting on December 1st and is the unofficial consultant for anything Christmas-related in his town of Cloverdale, Massachusetts. During the Christmas season, the Halls move into the house across the street from the Finches. They, in general, are different in outlook and temperament than the Finches. Unlike Steve, Buddy Hall scams his way through life and never follows through with anything he starts. While Kelly Finch, Tia Hall, and their children begin friendships based largely on those differences, Steve and Buddy butt heads based on those differences. It begins with Buddy striving to have his house seen from space by decorating it as lavishly and brightly as possible. One of the results of this task is that he becomes the new go-to guy for anything Christmas-related in Cloverdale, usurping Steve's coveted position. As Steve and Buddy's open animosity grows, they may threaten the joy of Christmas for all, most specifically their families who have their own ideas of what they would like to do over the Christmas season.

The thief Laurie Ash steals the expensive diamond jewel called 'Eye of the Serpent' in an audacious heist during an exhibition in Cannes 2001 Festival. She double-crosses her partners and is mistakenly taken as Lily, a woman who lost her husband and son in an accident and is missing since then, by an ordinary family. One day, while having bath in Lily's bathtub, Lily comes back home and commits suicide. Laurie assumes definitely Lily's identity, goes to America where she marries a rich man, who becomes the Ambassador of USA in France. When Laurie returns to France, her past haunts her.

Running Time was filmed in black and white, in real time, and seemingly takes place in one continuous, fluid shot. It's a little like Hitchcock's "Rope," but it's on location! Carl, an ex-con who sets out to rob the prison laundry system where he worked for 5 years (while in the pen), has spent ten years in prison planning the ultimate heist. Upon his release, he meets up with a high school buddy, who's made all the arrangements for the job, and rented him a hooker for his first encounter in a decade with a real girl. After picking up the safecracker and their getaway driver, they've got twenty minutes to pull off the perfect heist...but soon everything falls apart before Carl's eyes. He might still get the girl, though!
