In the early 2000s, British-Canadian William Sampson, who was living and working in Saudi Arabia at the time, spent thirty-two months in Saudi captivity charged and convicted for a series of crimes, initially only a car bombing but later more serious crimes such as espionage, none of which he committed. He was one of four foreign detainees, all friends of his, for such crimes at that time. This account of the lead up to his arrest, his captivity, and his life following his release, is told largely by Sampson himself, but also by others who were involved in different aspects of his case and situation. A bit of his personal life is told in providing background as to his nature as a person, which was by no means as of saint. Speculation of why he and his fellow detainees were used as scapegoats is discussed, as well as the conditions for his ultimate release. But it is primarily the abuse and torture he endured, which included rape and being held largely in solitary confinement, and the methods he used to remain as sane as possible under these circumstances, while making his captors lives as difficult as possible, are presented. Through it all, he and many others have harsh words for both the Canadian and British governments, who they felt did not adequately assist in getting him humane conditions for his captivity, getting him released, and providing for a smooth transition back to a "normal" life after his release.

"Vianey" is a hard-hitting documentary portrait about the life and misfortunes of the New Jersey and Bronx based underground hip-hop artist Vianey Otero, also known by the stage name So Icey Trap. The intensely personal film reveals the raw reality behind growing up on the streets, the lure of sex work, everyday life in jail, and being a female artist in the music industry. Vianey tells her story with unapologetic strength and honesty. Visually, the film takes the viewer on a meditative journey through the important locations of Vianey's life.

In 1965, filmmaker Frank De Felitta made a documentary film for NBC News about the changing times in the American South and the tensions of life in the Mississippi Delta during the civil rights struggle. The film was broadcast in May of 1966 and outraged many Southern viewers, in part, because it included an extraordinary scene featuring a local African-American waiter named Booker Wright. Wright, who worked at a local "whites only" restaurant in Greenwood MS, went on record to deliver a stunning, heartfelt and inflammatory monologue exploding the myth about who he was and how he felt about his position serving the local white community. The fallout for Booker Wright was extreme: He lost his job, and was beaten and ostracized by those that considered him "one of their own." Forty-five years after Booker's television appearance, Frank De Felitta's son, director Raymond De Felitta, takes a journey into the Mississippi Yazoo Delta with Booker Wright's granddaughter in search of who Booker Wright was, the mystery surrounding his courageous life and untimely murder, and the role Frank De Felitta's NBC News documentary may have played in it.

After making his historic crossing of the Alps with elephants transporting supplies and troops, Hannibal marches on Rome in a war of revenge. She escapes and meets Hannibal again. Hannibal orders his brother Hasdrubal to Carthage to take over command of the reinforcements preparing to join Hannibal. Hannibals wife Danila arrives from Carthage unexpectedly and Sylvia runs away and returns to Rome, where she is tried for high treason and sentenced to death. Hannibal continues to fight but he knows he will not succeed in destroying Rome.
