Sometimes people need a little push to realize the connections they've forged online aren't always what they seem. This season, Nev and Kamie respond to tips from concerned friends and family to help people in dubious online relationships track down bae IRL, so they can sort out what's fact and what's fiction.

Each season, series producers choose a diverse group of seven to eight people in their late teens to mid-20s (later early-20s to early 30s) to live together in a major city. The series presents their spontaneous, unscripted interactions with one another and the world around them, focusing on a different group and city each season.

The show follows the lives of nine young adults in Sissonville, West Va. and Charleston, West Va., they have a great love for the small-town America and seemingly create their own unique ways to enjoy life in the rural area surrounding them.

Since its first episode in 1998, True Life has provided a window into the struggles, hopes and dreams of young people. Narrated solely by its characters, each episode documents experiences of real individuals, including addictions, phobias, family and relationship conflicts, and soldiers returning from war. All episodes are shown in their original format.
