The Layover
After countless lonely nights over a bottle of wine and "The Bachelor", Seattle longtime friends Kate, a high school English teacher, and Meg, an ambitious cosmetics saleswoman, realize that they are going through a rough patch. To take a break, the pair take an impromptu flight to Fort Lauderdale and find themselves seated next to handsome blond Ryan, who is on his way to a friend's wedding. Suddenly the best friends get sucked into a destructive spiral of relentless competition and cut-throat one-upmanship with Ryan as the prize, especially when a Category 4 hurricane reroutes their flight to a St. Louis layover. They say all is fair in love and war, but is Ryan worth Meg and Kate's years of friendship?

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift from her late mother. A golden thread presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer's (Morgan Freeman's) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It's there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice, and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers, and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Dame Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara's key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world.

Camping Out
The gang is sitting around their campsite when a mosquito spoils their fun. And then he gets hundreds of his friends and they really cause trouble. Horace squirts some with molasses, which helps a bit. Everyone retreats to the tent, where they still get stung but can fight back a bit, eventually trapping all the mosquitoes in a pair of bloomers and sending them on their way.

Dave has decided to get over his recent breakup by seeking refuge with his nephew Felix, accompanying him on a school trip, among other things, to be able to get closer to one of the teachers, Miss Caroline. Everything seems normal, at least until a zombie invasion breaks out that will threaten Dave's plans. New horror-movie icon Lupita Nyong'o nails it in this blend of comedy and gore.

Come round two, Toby pulls into his shell to avoid the fists, wears a diving helmet to survive the water Max pours in, and when Max fills his shell with fireworks, manages to turn them back against Max.

Together
Somberly driving down a lonely desert freeway, Sofie quietly contemplates. Beside her sits Jack, the love of her life, who seems differently distracted. Upon arrival to their destination, a lonesome cabin in the desert, the couple finally unwinds on the porch with a glass of wine and the cause of their distraction is brought to light, the recent loss of their toddler daughter. The impending night is meant to be one last magical evening before being reunited with their child through a planned murder-suicide. Reality is called into question, however, as Jack attempts to convince Sofie that hope is never completely lost as Sofie struggles to move forward.

Sweet Mountain Christmas
Country-music star Laney Blu hasn't been back to her Tennessee hometown in years. It wasn't the kindest place to grow up, so when her career skyrocketed at 17, she was happy to leave it behind. Though she's set to headline a Christmas concert in New York City, Laney decides to make a quick pit-stop to see her family. When a freak snowstorm hits, she finds herself stranded in the town and is roped into taking part in a local Christmas concert. As Laney spends more time in her hometown, it becomes less and less like she remembered it. She begins to fall in the love with the people, the places, and--just maybe--a handsome snowplow driver named Robbie. When the storm lets up, will Laney head off to NYC or will home be where her heart is?

Maleficent curses the young princess by announcing that she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel's spindle and die before sunset on her 16th birthday. Fortunately, one of the good fairies, Merryweather, softens the curse so Aurora will not die upon pricking her finger, but only sleep instead, and the only way to wake her from her deep sleep is true love's kiss. Finally, the day comes.

The Boy Who Talked to Badgers
A young Canadian farm boy, Juttner has no use for people; in fact, he seems to communicate better with animals. He tries to spend as much time as possible with his furry friends. His parents realize this could eventually become a problem, but don't have the heart to take away Benjy's seemingly only pleasure. The boy befriends a badger, and when the animal disappears, Benjy sets out to find his friend. In the course of his search, Benjy gets trapped in a raging river and winds up being carried far from his home. His quest for survival and finding his way back dominate the bigger part of the film.
