Daytime Drama, spun off from "Another World," which followed Iris Carrington from Bay City as she rediscovered Alex Wheeler, a former love, and moved to the Houston area. The stories centered around the daily lives of the wealthy Wheelers and Bellmans and the middle-class Marshalls and their ranching and oil interests. Beverlee McKinsey, as Iris, was the first daytime performer to be given starring credit.

Texas Flip N Move
House flippers purchase run down, almost condemned frame houses that have been set for demolition to make way for larger homes. They move the houses to an auction lot where they renovate the houses and sell via auction. Unlike most flipping shows, profits are usually under $10,000 (often WAY under). There is a competition element as the flippers will compete against each other as to which team profits the most. The only prize is bragging rights. Teams are the Snow Sisters, The Lone Wolf, the Young Guns, and Casey & Catrina.

Hammer House of Horror
"Hammer House of Horror" is a non-hosted UK anthology series from Hammer Film Productions, which tells tales of haunted houses, demons, ghosts, and other supernatural wonders. The show screened 13 stories in 1980. Some of the best British actors are featured, including Peter Cushing and Denholm Elliott.

This Is the Life
Each week, "This is the Life" presented dramas dealing with contemporary problems and how they were resolved using Christian solutions. Examples might include a professional baseball player who had betrayed the trust of his team; a college student who was mourning the loss of his girlfriend in a car accident; a recovering alcoholic struggling with the temptation to jump off the wagon; and a couple contemplating divorce. In the early years, the program featured the Fisher family, a "typical family" from Middleburg in an unnamed Midwestern state; in later years, the programs featured new characters and settings.

The Doctor is an alien Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey who travels through all of time and space in the TARDIS with friends. Instead of dying, the Doctor is able to "regenerate" into a new body, taking on a new personality with each regeneration.

Caged
"Caged" takes viewers into the world of young people growing up in small town Louisiana, following a group of friends who are finding their way in the world after high school graduation as they struggle to make something of their lives and break out of the metaphorical cage they've found themselves in. This weekly documentary series will take an honest look into the world of young amateur MMA fighters, both inside and outside of the cage. One is dealing with his lost love, another tries to balance his young family and fighting, and another just yearns to make his family proud. It's impossible for them to leave these issues outside of the ring, and each week, viewers will see how their personal lives and choices affect their chances inside the cage. For these modern day gladiators, every day is a fight to break free from the past, and to find their future. It's their chance to turn their lives around, and an opportunity to stand up and fight to make something of themselves. "Caged" is executive produced by Joke Fincioen and Biagio Messina of Joke Productions. Dave Sirulnick and Amy Bailey are executive producers for MTV. The series is from MTV's award-winning News and Docs department.

Monsters
"Monsters" was a non-hosted horror anthology series which ran from 1988 to 1991. The show would start with a family of monsters watching a different horror story every week on their television. Each tale is separate, often cautionary with occasional dark humor and irony and features various deadly creatures. The series has featured cameos from celebrities including: Kaye Ballard, Linda Blair, Laura Branigan, Imogene Coca, Troy Donahue, Farley Granger, Pam Grier, Deborah Harry, Meat Loaf, David McCallum, Anne Meara, Jerry Stiller, Wil Wheaton.

Phil Fish is a detective with the New York Police Department who moves into a house with his gravelly-voiced wife Bernice, and adopts five foster children: street-smart Victor, black hipster Loomis, shy Jilly, charmer Mike and youthful Diane. Charlie was the social worker shrink who dropped in from time to time to make sure everything was OK.

A mini-series spoof of various TV primetime sopa operas set in Fresno, America's 64th largest city and showing the raisin production family of the Kensingtons centering on the matriarch Charlotte's feud with the family's arch rival Tyler Cane, the head of a powerful raisin conglomerate. Among the players are Charlotte's son, the vile, power-mad Cane Kensington; his voluptious nympho wife Talon; and a shirtless stranger, named Torch, who gets hired as a Kensington ranch hand and captures the attentions of all women he comes into contact with.

Outback Jack
Australian all-round athlete Vadim "Outback Jack" Dale's hand in marriage is the amazing prize for a dozen spoiled US fashion-addicts. It must be won by following him on a long, arduous trek, in Spartan camping conditions, trough his Outback (bush) home, which he shares with creepy and dangerous animals, and various tests. Girls are eliminated in every episode, usually by his choice. Other tests win one or more contestants chances to spend quality time with Jack and/or avoid nasty chores. A luxury hotel rest day sort on turns the tables in between.
