Rick Harding is a former Marines officer, now working in the FBI as a chemical weapons designer. While packing up for the night, a group of armed soldiers led by wanted criminal Carlos Gruber, break into the FBI research lab. They steal large amounts of a newly created germ warfare chemical called Bromax-360, loosing two of their men in the process before escaping into the night.

Jyoti introduces him to her dad, none other than Kedarnath. It is here that the drama unfolds, bringing back past memories and crimes.

Aware that his grandson has acquired all the bad habits of a rich and spoiled brat, including womanizing and alcohol, Lala Ganpat Rai, instructs his lawyers to make it conditional that he, Vishal, not receive any money or property from his estate unless he fulfills either of two conditions. However, he reconsiders this, and he and half a dozen friends travel to the village, set a comfortable albeit accommodations, and attempt to cultivate the land. Things do not go as planned, as Vishal and his friends are accused of molesting and raping a village belle, which leads to her suicide. His friends, noticing the changed atmosphere, disappear, leaving Vishal alone to carry out the mammoth task of cultivating the land on his own, without help or support, and angry villagers who may expel him from their village. It looks like Vishal is on his way of losing everything he had ever hoped, prayed, and taken for granted.

Schoolgirl Connie wants to learn science, not deportment, and gets her chance when she takes a broken clock to eccentric inventor Professor Branestawm, who offers to teach her. However snide councillor Haggerstone wants to knock down Branestawm's house and replace it with Mr Bullimore's giant munitions factory. The townsfolk are against the idea until the professor's tea-making machine causes chaos at a council meeting and he is forbidden to invent anything until his inventor's permit is found. Evil Bullimore attempts to steal the permit and burn down the town hall blaming Branestawm but the tea-making machine proves to be a superb fire extinguisher and Branestawm is declared a hero
