Lisa Bonet has not spoken out about the more than 40 women who have come forward to accuse Bill Cosby of sexual assault, but her daughter Zoe Kravitz has shed some light on The Cosby Show star's state of mind regarding the allegations.
In an interview with The Guardian, Kravitz says Bonet is "just as disgusted and concerned as everyone else is," before adding, "but I don't think she has any insight. It's news to her as well."
According to Kravitz, Bonet doesn't even discuss the allegations against Cosby to her. "She'd plead the fifth, even to me," the Divergent star said. "I think she's just staying out of it."
"She's a very straightforward person," Kravitz continued. "If there was something she felt the world needed to know that would help this case or help any women who had been abused, she would say something."
Dozens of women have come forward to accuse Cosby of sexual assault since November 2014. The comedian is facing a criminal investigation by the Los Angeles Police Depeartment, but hasn't been charged. He is expected to testify under oath on Oct. 9.
