Which Series Regular Is Leaving The Mindy Project?

The Mindy Project star Zoe Jarman will not return as a series regular in Season 3, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

It's possible that Jarman, who plays receptionist Betsy Putch, will return in a limited capacity.

"The character of Betsy Putch ... is still alive and well in the world of The Mindy Project," a rep for the show said in a statement. "However, Zoe will not be returning as a series regular.  She has been asked to guest star, so it's possible that fans will see her next season."

Jarman, whose exit was first reported by TVLine, was one of the show's four remaining original cast members. Anna Camp, Amanda Setton and Stephen Tobolowsky all left midway through the first season.
