After the (poorly received) release of his first book Congratulations, You're Dying, Jimmy Shive Overly (Chris Geere) has been struggling to find his next project. And this season on You're the Worst, Jimmy finally embraces his true calling -- and no, it has nothing to do with NCIS: LA this time.

As Jimmy declared in Season 2, he plans "to give the world the first truly literary erotic novel since Portnoy's Complaint." And in a surprising twist, Jimmy actually follows through! Season 3 will follow Jimmy's process of trying to get his follow-up novel published. But what exactly is this book about?

"It's an erotic tale. It's set in early 20th-century London, and it's very naughty," Geere teases to TVGuide.com. "The writers wrote the erotic novel. It has a very comedy title, which shall be revealed later."

8 things to expect in You're the Worst's excellent third season

During the season, fans will get to see Jimmy recite excerpts from the book, which features incest, water sports, World War II and a whole lot of semen on stockings. And if the actors get their way, viewers will be able to read the entire book soon enough.

"We sent turkey basters last Thanksgiving. You could do the Christmas release [of the book]," Aya Cash urges Geere.
See what else they say about the book in the video above.

You're the Worst airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on FXX.
