You, Me and the Apocalypse is a British-American dramedy miniseries about the end of the world. It's like Shaun of the Dead with a dash of Christian theology plus Megan Mullally with a swastika drawn on her forehead. It's the perfect blend of British black humor and American survivalism. The cast includes Rob Lowe as Father Jude, a cynical priest tasked with disproving miracles; Jenna Fischer as Rhonda, a meek librarian sent to prison for a crime she didn't commit in order to protect her son; and Game of Thrones' Joel Fry as a slacker who finds the end of the world the perfect opportunity to finally cross things off his bucket list.

In the exclusive clip below, Father Jude is interviewing Sister Celine (Gaia Scodellaro), a sheltered but inquisitive Italian nun, for a job as assistant devil's advocate, trying to prove that candidates for sainthood didn't perform the miracles attributed to them. The interview isn't going too well for her, because she doesn't have the experience Father Jude is looking for. Jude's experience sounds a lot like Rob Lowe's, and the actor's personal history brings weight to the performance. But Celine is determined to get the job:

Find out if she lands it on the season premiere of You, Me and the Apcoalypse, airing Thursday, Jan. 28 at 8/7c on NBC.
