When Is the World Series On?

The St. Louis Cardinals or the San Francisco Giants? Baseball fans still don't know which National League team will make it to the World Series, but now viewers know when the games will be on. Major League Baseball announced the schedule for the 2012 World Series Monday. The St. Louis Cardinals or the San Francisco Giants? Baseball fans still don't know which National League team will make it to the World Series, but now viewers know when the games will be on.

Major League Baseball announced the schedule for the 2012 World Series Monday. Game 1 will kick off on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 8:07/7:07c from either St. Louis or San Francisco — depending on who wins Game 7 of the National League Championship Series on Monday (8:07 p.m. EST). The first two games will start on the National League team's home turf before moving to Detroit for Games 3, 4, and — if necessary —  Game 5. If a champ still isn't determined by then, the final two games will be return to the National League team's home stadium.

Saturday, Oct. 27: St. Louis OR San Francisco @ Detroit— 8:07 p.m. EST

Game 4
Sunday, Oct. 28: St. Louis OR San Francisco @ Detroit — 8:15 p.m. EST

Game 5
Monday, Oct. 29: St. Louis OR San Francisco @ Detroit— 8:07 p.m. EST

Game 6
Wednesday, Oct. 31: Detroit @ St. Louis OR San Francisco — 8:07 p.m. EST

Game 7
Thursday, Nov. 1: Detroit @ St. Louis OR San Francisco — 8:07 p.m. EST
