Brazil is a World Cup powerhouse, qualifying every year the tournament has been held and winning it five times, so it's no surprise to see them in the quarter-finals this year. Philippe Coutinho and Neymar lead the team with two goals each, making up for more than half the seven goals scored by the team this tournament. Expect Alisson Becker to keep up his strong play in goal; Brazil has allowed just a single goal in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Japan thought they had the game locked away with a 2-0 lead in the second half, but then Belgium stormed back to go up 3-2 in the fourth minute of stoppage time to win the game; it's the first time in nearly 50 years that a team has overcome a 2-0 deficit to win a game. Belgium has scored 12 goals in the tournament, with Romelu Lukaku sitting in second place in tournament scoring with four of those goals in three matches.

Fridays's game at Kazan Arena, Kazan starts at 9 p.m. local time, or 2 p.m. Eastern (11 a.m. Pacific).
