Wizard of Oz: 85th Anniversary Theater Edition 4K Steelbook Is Now Available for Preorder

Off to see the Wizard? Us, too. This week marks some serious news when it comes to fans of The Wizard of Oz. To celebrate 85 years of the iconic film, a special 4K Theater Edition Steelbook of the film is being released this fall and is now available for preorder for $55 at on GRUV, or $75 on Amazon.

Who would have guessed — 85 whole years of the mega-popular film based on the novel published all the way back in 1900. You know the tale like the back of your hand: Dorothy and her pup Toto find themselves in the wonderous world of Oz after being caught in a vicious tornado. There, she meets a few new pals in addition to not-so-friendly folks on her journey to meet the Wizard of Oz, who supposedly can help Dorothy and Toto on their quest back home to Kansas.

This Steelbook is extra special, instilling itself as a collector's item fans can't ignore. The movie plays in 4KUHD and Blu-ray, the highest definition this film has ever seen, and features a number of collectible items you won't get with any old DVD. Here, you'll receive a preview premiere theater ticket, the Grauman's Chinese Theater eight-page program, four varying art cards from original posters, and eight original theater lobby cards from back in the day. 

For the first time ever, this film is as clear as day with a number of must-have additives collectors will surely geek out over. The Steelbook releases on Nov. 5, but right now, fans can preorder the film for just $55 at GRUV, or $75 on Amazon. Time to get the ball rolling and pick this puppy up!
