Whoopi Goldberg Tapped to Host Tony Awards
Whoopi Goldberg has been named the host of The 62nd Annual Tony Awards, scheduled for Sunday, June 15 (8 pm/ET, CBS).This will be Goldberg's first stint at hosting the Tonys. She has hosted the Academy Awards ceremony four times.The View moderator won a Tony Award herself in 2002 for her role in Thoroughly Modern Millie.
