Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards had plenty of surprises, including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan taking home the trophy for Best Actress in a Comedy. If the name sounds familiar, that's probably because you've seen her in other projects.

Brosnahan appeared on shows like Gossip Girl, CSI: Miami, Grey's Anatomy, Orange Is the New Black and The Good Wife before landing a recurring role on The Blacklist in 2014 as Jolene Parker. She also starred as Rachel Posner on House of Cards from 2013-2015, a role for which she was nominated for a Guest Emmy.

She played Abby Isaacs in the short-lived series Manhattan, before landing the lead role on Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel from Gilmore Girls creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino. The dramedy tells the story of a New York housewife (Brosnahan) who becomes a standup comedian after her husband upends her world by leaving her.
