Days after landing a Saturday Night Live hosting gig and a guest spot on The Middle, she has signed on as a regular for TV Land's first scripted series, Hot in Cleveland.

TV Land hot for new sitcom Hot in Cleveland

The sitcom stars three other funny ladies, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick, as Los Angeles pals who wind up in Cleveland and decide to stay there because the locals find them glamorous. White, 88, will play the trio's feisty caretaker. The six-time Emmy winner previously was attached just for the pilot.

Production on Hot in Cleveland, which has been picked up for 10 episodes, is slated to begin soon with a target on a June premiere.
