It's time for White Collar fans to start bracing for goodbye.

The USA drama will kick off its final six-episode run on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 9/8c, USA announced Friday.

The announcement marks the first time USA has confirmed that the series, starring Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay, will indeed wrap this season. The cable network renewed White Collar for a short six-episode Season 6 back in March after prolonged talks, but went short of confirming the end was near.

Fall TV: Where have we seen that before?

In an interview Wednesday with TVGuide.com for his other USA series, Graceland, White Collar creator Jeff Eastin confirmed that this was the final season of the beloved series, about a talented con artist (Bomer) who works alongside an FBI agent (DeKay) as a criminal informant. "Knowing full well that White Collar Season 6 would be the final season obviously impacted the storytelling," he said.

Despite the lack of an official confirmation, cast members including Willie Garson didn't shy away from tweeting behind-the-scenes pictures and heartfelt thank-yous when the show shot its series finale in late July.

The show's sixth season will be paired with the second half of Covert Affairs' fifth season, which will air at 10/9c.
