American Idol's first season on ABC is almost over. The next Idol will be country spitfire Gabby Barrett, deep-voiced down-home cutie Caleb Lee Hutchinson or quirky guitar popster Maddie Poppe. The finale will happen over two nights this Sunday and Monday.

The performance finals are on Sunday, where the three finalists will perform their original songs for the first time and make their final plea to be the people's choice. It will also include hometown visits for the Top 3.

Monday is the results show when the new American Idol will be crowned. It'll be the big, grand finale that you won't want to miss. In addition to the finalists, Variety reports that other performers will include judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, along with Bebe Rexha, Nick Jonas and Mustard, Patti Labelle, Darius Rucker, Gary Clark Jr., Yolanda Adams and of course Kermit the Frog.

The rest of the Top 10 -- Cade Foehner, Catie Turner, Michael Woodard, Dennis Lorenzo, Jurnee, Michelle Sussett and Ada Vox-- will also get to come back to say goodbye.

The American Idol season finale will kick off Sunday, May 20 at 8/7c and the two-hour results show will air live Monday, May 21 from 9/8c on ABC. If you don't have cable, you can stream via Hulu with Live TV.
