This new Fox series focuses on the final years of training young doctors go through where they begin to realize that being a doctor is sometimes less about saving lives and more about keeping the plates spinning while trying desperately not to screw up.

Prepare to fall in love (and sometimes hate) with the gruff Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry), who does his best to impart his medical wisdom and unconventional methods to his newest intern, Devon Pravesh (Manish Dayal).

The Resident premieres on Fox on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 10/9c after the NFC Championship football game and then will move to its regular Mondays at 9/8c time slot on Jan. 22.
