If you thought you were going to catch some sunlight this weekend, you'd be wrong. Netflix released the list of what's leaving the service in September, and a bunch of great films are on their way out. Cancel your plans and settle in for some serious binge-watching, because you don't want to miss these stellar titles.
The top of the month will see rom-com favorites like 13 Going On 30 and Forgetting Sarah Marshall take their leave. If you're a huge Christopher Nolan fan, you'll probably want to catch Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, featuring a scarily good Heath Ledger as the Joker, before they depart on Sept. 1 as well. Prestige dramas like Dead Poets Society and Casino, as well as the sci-fi comedy classic Ghostbusters will also disappear from the streaming platform that day.
Now's also the time to catch the 1976 remake of A Star Is Born, which exits on Sept. 15, before the 2018 remake with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga hits theaters in October. Other notable films leaving Netflix next month include Wes Anderson's charming coming-of-age film Moonrise Kingdom (Sept. 16) and the Alan Turing drama The Imitation Game (Sept. 28) starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
