Here's What's Coming to -- and More Importantly, Leaving -- Hulu in September

The big story with Hulu in September 2016 is less what's coming to the streaming service and more what's leaving -- which is all of Hulu's CW programming. Supernatural, Jane the Virgin and all the DC universe shows (among others) will disappear from Hulu Sept. 18. But they won't vanish from the web entirely; Netflix will be the network's new online home. The greatest benefit of Hulu has always been its status as the place to watch shows the day after they air, and unfortunately, it will now be harder to watch CW shows as they're happening -- they won't come to Netflix until the full season arrives at once eight days after the season finale -- but new episodes will be available the day after air on Amazon and a few days later on CWTV.com.

The good news is that a lot of other new episodes will still be available the day after on Hulu. Most of the notable arrivals to Hulu this month are new episodes of new and returning shows.
