What Time Is the Belmont Stakes?

The 145th Belmont Stakes, the third and final stop in horse racing's Triple Crown, will be run on Saturday at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.

Races will be held throughout the day beginning at 11:45 a.m. ET, but the $1 million Belmont Stakes has an official post time of 6:36 p.m., according to the race's official website. The track is likely to be sloppy, with heavy rain forecast in the region for Friday and Saturday.

Contenders include Kentucky Derby winner Orb and Preakness winner Oxbow. As of Friday morning, Orb was considered the frontrunner with 3-1 odds.
