Think Like a Man Knocks Hunger Games From the Top Spot at the Box Office

The Hunger Games finally lost the battle of the box office after four weeks in the No. 1 spot. Think Like a Man grossed $33 million in its opening weekend to take the top spot, according to Box Office Mojo. The romantic comedy, adapted from the non-fiction book by Steve Harvey, features an ensemble cast that includes Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. The Hunger Games finally lost the battle of the box office after four weeks in the No. 1 spot.

Think Like a Man grossed $33 million in its opening weekend to take the top spot, according to Box Office Mojo. The romantic comedy, adapted from the non-fiction book by Steve Harvey, features an ensemble cast that includes Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union and Harvey himself.

The Hunger Games four-peats, The Three Stooges tops new releases

Coming in second place was The Lucky One, which brought in $22.8 million in its opening weekend. The film, adapted from the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, stars Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling.

The Hunger Games came in No. 3 with $14.5 million, bringing its five-week total gross to a whopping $356.9 million.

Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire catches a director

The Disney documentary Chimpanzeetook the fourth spot with $10.2 million in its opening weekend. The Three Stooges followed with $9.2 million in its second weekend.

Rounding out the top 10: The Cabin in the Woods(No. 6, $7.75 million), American Reunion (No. 7, $5.2 million), Titanic 3-D (No. 8, $5 million), 21 Jump Street (No. 9, $4.6 million) and Mirror Mirror (No. 10, $4.1 million).
