Battlestar Galactica executive producer David Eick on Friday issued a statement designed to dispel recent rumblings — ignited by comments made by Edward James Olmos and, to a lesser degree, fellow cast member Katie Sackhoff — proclaiming the upcoming fourth season to be the series' last. "For those of you who have been paying attention over the years, this is not the first time Eddie has made an announcement about the possibility of the show's end," Eick said. "I promise you that when [executive producer] Ron [Moore] and I make a decision about Galactica's future, we'll let you know."
