Thor's Kat Dennings Returning to Marvel in WandaVision on Disney Plus

Here's everything we learned about the Scarlet Witch and Vision series

Kaitlin Thomas

We still don't fully understand exactly how Vision is alive after the events of Avengers: Endgame, but Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has given us some new hints about WandaVision, the forthcoming Disney+ series starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as their Marvel characters Scarlet Witch and Vision.

Feige revealed on Friday at D23 Expo 2019 that the series is half classic-sitcom, à la The Dick Van Dyke Show, and half Marvel blockbuster. We'll leave it up to you to figure out what that means!

Additionally, Feige revealed multiple new cast members. Kat Dennings, who appeared in the first two Thor films as Darcy Lewis, who might best be remembered for always mispronouncing Mjolnir, will appear in the show opposite Olsen, Bettany and Teyonah Parris, who was announced at San Diego Comic-Con to be playing the grown-up version of Monica Rambeau, the little girl from Captain Marvel.

Everything We Know So Far About Disney+, Disney's Streaming Service

Meanwhile, Randall Park will reprise his role as Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp, while Kathryn Hahn is joining the MCU in what has been described as a nosy neighbor type. Hahn previously voiced Doc Ock in Sony's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which is not part of the MCU.

WandaVision premieres in spring 2021 on Disney+, which launches Nov. 12. Find out what else is coming to the new streaming service.
