Exclusive Walking Dead First Look: Maggie's Got a Gun!

If you didn't already know, life in Alexandria is going to be a little less idyllic this season on The Walking Dead.

Although the survivors had some momentary respite (and some hot showers!) in the peaceful community of Alexandria, that's all about to change next season. As you can in the exclusive image above, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) not only has her gun at her side, but she looks a little eager to unholster her weapon.

The question remains: What threat are Maggie & Co. guarding against? Is it the ever-present peril presented by the walkers? Or could she and her pals be gearing up to face the mysterious gang known as the Wolves? And there's also the possibility that now that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) has shown the Alexandrians exactly how brutal one must be to survive in this world, the formerly peaceful neighbors might turn against their most recent recruits.

Then again, probably all three of those things will come to pass before Season 6 is over. Until then, dissect the photo above for more clues and check out The Walking Dead when it premieres on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 9/8c on AMC.
