Every new episode of Vikings means new possibilities for our favorites to join Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) in Valhalla. One of the bloodiest shows on TV, Vikings never hesitates to kill off big characters (sometimes, even more than one in an episode). That's why ahead of the midseason premiere, we can't help but wonder: Which Viking will be the next to go?
According to The Seer's prophecy, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) is destined to be killed by one of Ragnar's sons. But is this the season we'll finally be forced to say goodbye to our beloved shieldmaiden? Or will one of Ragnar's heirs be the next to reunite with him the afterlife? Hvitserk (Marco Ilsø) is definitely not Ivar's (Alex Høgh) favorite person right now, despite the fact that Hvitserk is the only brother who stood by the newly crowned king. Meanwhile, Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) and Ivar likely won't stop fighting until one of them is dead, and it's possible that Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) -- by far the most like their father -- may be destined to follow Ragnar's footsteps right into an early grave.

And we haven't even begun to talk about Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard)! The last time we saw the fan favorite fanatic he had offered himself up as a sacrifice to the gods to save the utopian community he was trying to build in Iceland. Heahmund (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) will also be in quite the precarious position when he finds himself torn between his loyalties to Lagertha and those to the church when he returns to England this season. And don't forget about Torvi (Georgia Hirst), Bjorn's ex-wife and Ubbe's current lover, and Harald (Peter Franzen), Ivar's ambitious ally, both of whom managed to escape death in the recent battle -- but can they do this again?
Rollo (Clive Standen) is also making his Vikings return this season, but fans would riot if anything were to happen to him during his return to Kattegatt. Given that this is Vikings we're talking about, though, the more impactful a death would be, the more likely it is to happen.
