VIDEO: The Goldbergs Kids Guess What Came First in the '80s
It helps if you lived through it
One of the hallmarks of The Goldbergs is its anachronistic melting pot of '80s references. Since it takes place in 1980-something, Poltergeist can exist in the same episode as Air Jordans, or "Alone" with Say Anything..., even though we all in the real world know better.
But do the show's youngest stars? We quizzed Sean Giambrone, Troy Gentile and AJ Michalka -- none of whom, by the way, were alive in the '80s -- to see if they know which of these totally '80s things that have been mentioned on their show came first.
