Spring break never looked so messy.

Hulu has revealed a new teaser for its revival of Veronica Marsand it looks like things are about to get pretty explosive in Neptune, as our eponymous sleuth tracks down the culprit(s) behind a series of bombings that threaten to upend the town's status as a destination hot spot for the holiday.

Veronica Mars Revival: Everything We Know So Far

"Spring break was always sketchy, but this was worse. Neptune was experiencing a crime wave," Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) says in the voice over for the Season 4 teaser. "It's possible that these bombings are part of a campaign to destroy Neptune as a spring break destination."

Judging by the shots of people being terrorized by detonations, stone-faced gunmen holding people hostage, and more, it looks like Mars might have her hands full with this case.

The official synopsis for Season 4 of Veronica Mars, which will feature eight episodes in its initial run on the streaming service, has been revealed as follows:

Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town's lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son's killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave's wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast's answer to Daytona Beach.

Hulu also announced Wednesday that it will make the series' first three seasons, which ran on UPN and The CW, along with the movie, which was partially funded by a massive crowd-sourcing campaign, available for streaming this summer as well.

Veronica Mars' new season debuts on Hulu on July 26.
