Brooklyn Nine-Nine loves a last-minute save!
There are shippers, and then there are shippers who go the extra mile! Olicity and Peraltiago shippers definitely went a few extra miles in the final round of our Valentine's Day Shipper Contest, and the rest of the internet should just go ahead and bow down to these two insane fandoms!
In the end, over 50,000 votes were cast in the finals, which put Arrow's Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) up against Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero), and honestly, has a more epic showdown ever existed? The race was neck-and-neck until the bitter end, when Peraltiago eeked out an impressive last push that earned them the win. What can we say, Nine-Niners love a last-minute save! We also have to give a major shout-out to Melissa Fumero, who rallied her Peraltiago troops through each round to run away with this competition.
Fumero and Samberg humbly accepted the win with a celebratory video... telling other fans to suck it.
Wow was that in character or what?
