Usher's Son Rushed to Hospital

Usher's son Usher Raymond V was rushed to a hospital on Monday after nearly drowning in a pool, TMZ.com reports.

According to the site, Usher Raymond V dove to the bottom of a residential pool to get a toy that was stuck in the drain. He got caught in the drain and both his aunt and the maid were unable to save him. Two audio-visual contractors working at the Atlanta home were able to rescue him, administering CPR and taking him to the hospital.

The Voicecoach was reportedly not present at the time of the accident, but met his son at the hospital. Doctors say Usher Raymond, 5, will be OK.

Usher Raymond V is the eldest of Usher's two sons with his ex-wife, Tameka. Last year, Tameka lost her 11-year-old son from a previous relationship, Kile, because of injuries he sustained in a jet ski accident.
