Eliza Coupe just can't catch a break. USA has canceled her series Benched after one season, Deadine reports.
The lawyer comedy, which starred the Happy Endings alum and Jay Harrington, received decent reviews, but only averaged 800,000 viewers. And though USA opted to bring back Sirens and Playing House, both of which had low live ratings, Benched didn't grow enough in DVR or VOD viewing to apparently warrant a Season 2.
The cancellation comes a week after USA axed Covert Affairs after five seasons.
