U2 will perform their Academy Award-nominated song "Ordinary Love" at this year's ceremony, which will be hosted by Ellen DeGeneres. The tune, which U2 wrote, is from the film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
American Hustle, Gravity lead 2014 Oscar nominations
U2 joins previously announced performer Idina Menzel, who will sing "Let It Go" from Frozen. The two songs will compete with music from Despicable Me 2 and Her.
The 86th Academy Awards airs Sunday, March 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET/ 5:30 p.m. PT on ABC.
