NBC's comedy woes continue.

The network has trimmed the episode order for freshman series Truth Be Told, which stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Vanessa Lachey, to 10 installments, Varietyreports.

The announcement isn't an official cancellation, and Truth Be Told will continue to air in its timeslot, Fridays at 8:30/7:30c. But after just two episodes, Truth Be Told's ratings are lagging, to say the least - it's averaging just 2.4 million viewers and a 0.66 rating in the adults 18-to-49 demographic. Those numbers make it the lowest-rated series on any of the four major networks so far this fall.

Tone Bell and Bresha Webb star alongside Gosselaar and Lachey as two married couples who are best friends and neighbors, and don't consider any topic to be conversation taboo.

Behind The Player, Truth Be Told is the second NBC series to have its episode order shortened. Fox and ABC also made the same move with Minority Report and Blood & Oil, respectively.
